  1. BI supports a variety of business decisions, from operational to strategic. Major operational decisions refer to product positioning or pricing, while strategic business decisions include priorities, goals, and directions. A BI system is most effective when it combines the external and internal data from the market in which the enterprise operates and from sources within the enterprise, such as financial and production. When combined, external and internal data provide a more complete picture of the business and analytics that cannot be obtained as a result of analysing data from only one of these sources.

  2. The article addresses how business intelligence and business analytics form a comprehensive significance when they work together while collecting and processing the data, and refers to popular BI tools.
Using BI technologies is a smart way to understand what related data means, and to turn it into meaningful insights that businesses can use in real-world decision-making. Data visualisation is one of them as many BI software can visualise data from a huge number of sources. It is not a surprise that SAP is one of the best BI models and still keeping its popularity among enterprises who can get an all-inclusive set of integrated, cross-functional processes with it.
